The Evolution of Business

Businesses get smarter over time.  Many years ago, HSBC Bank USA had a main server that went out of commission.  Millions of people including me lost access to our accounts.  Some customers stayed with the bank while others left.  I decided to stay with the bank because companies get smarter as time goes on.  I believe strongly in the evolution of businesses.

Most companies correct their mistakes with better systems or better ways of doing things.  Learning from the past is part of business.

Foods that break down blood clots in arteries

Are you wondering what foods break down blood clots in arteries.  Foods rich in vitamin E, such as walnuts, almonds, avocados, and spinach, can help dissolve blood clots. Foods such as Tuna fish and other fish products also can break down plaque.  Of course prescribed blood thinners and aspirin can also break down blood clots in arteries.

The Future of Your Marriage

Are you getting married?  Do you love your partner?  Are you ready to face the potential challenges.  I would like to offer you my thoughts for preparing.  Always have a purpose for your marriage and define that purpose with your partner.  Marriage is for better or worse.  Also characterized as thick and thin.

The first thing you want to do is decide whether your partner is the one you want to spend the rest of your life with.  Do you truly love your spouse.  This means you have to sacrifice part of your life for your spouses’ life.  That’s why you have to think about all the issues, not just some of them.

Focus on the fundamentals first.  Decide what materials you need in your marriage.  What kind of home do I really need?  Do I really want children for love or for self worth?  What kind of budget are you going to have?  How much money do you need to finance that budget?  What kinds of activities do we want to do?  Always ask yourself why.  Why do we want a family?  You must set goals for your marriage.  Make sure you avoid things you don’t want or don’t need.

Establish a good communication system for yourself.  Set up a little office with a computer, pads of paper, pens and calculator.  Always keep those things in a central area of the home.  Even if its just a set of tote boxes.  This is vitally important to keep everyone in the household on the same page.  Make it a central system for yourself.  Focus on centrality and knowing where things are.  Tote boxes are very useful.  Always use labels too.

Set up a marital budget and stick to it.  This is important.  Take old debts and consolidate them if you can.  Maybe you can refinance your home.  Always decide what things you need and avoid those you don’t need.

Smaller Government or Less Spending

The United States is in a new movement.    We want a smaller government. However, before we try to reduce the size of the government, let’s think about one thing first.  Are we reducing government spending or the size of government?

Government agencies are needed today to protect people’s rights and check their responsibilities.   If we reduce the size of the government, we probably will reduce people’s access to our laws protecting them.

The main goal of government is protecting people’s rights.  Reducing government through spending cuts will definitely not be enough.  If anybody thinks it will, they’re kidding ourselves.  However, it can be a start.  We have to reinvent our federal government with the same purpose:  protection of people’s rights and setting national goals.

People’s rights exist with their jobs, insurance, homes, water, environment, schools, public infrastructure, courts and voting.  These are all important areas of rights that have to be protected at all levels of government.

The only satisfactory change we can make to government is change how we pay for our services, cut waste, cut public payroll by 5 percent and reform taxes.  Taxes should mainly be imposed on consumption.  There should be one very small flat payroll tax as well as a business tax to help fund everything.  There is no need for all the taxes we pay.

Let’s be honest with ourselves about our government.  We need money to fund our government to protect our rights including our right to have freedom.  But we need a more balanced tax system to do it.
